Terms & Conditions
Definitions:
“Buyer” means the person or company who buys or agrees
to buy the goods from the seller.
“Seller” means Corporate Wine UK.
“Goods” means the articles, which the buyer agrees to buy
from the seller.
“Price” means the price for the goods excluding carriage,
packing, insurance and VAT where applicable.
Conditions Applicable :
Corporate Wine UK’s terms and conditions will apply to all orders
accepted by us, to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions which
the buyer may purport to apply under any purchase order, confirmation
of order or similar document.
Any variation of these conditions (including any special terms and
conditions agreed) shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by
Corporate Wine UK.
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of Scotland and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Stock availability:
All goods which you may order are subject to availability, and Corporate
Wine UK reserves the right at any time to make changes to the specification
of the Goods or to withdraw certain Goods without notice. Whilst Corporate
Wine UK will make every effort to have adequate stock of Goods available,
occasionally we may be unable to fulfill your order. If we are unable
to fulfill an order we will advise you of this by telephone or e-mail
Price :
All prices shown are correct at the time of going to press and exclude
delivery charges unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT (where applicable)
and duty charged at the prevailing rates. Whilst Corporate Wine UK will
exercise all reasonable endeavors to ensure that all prices and delivery
costs quoted are accurate, if we have priced an item incorrectly, we
shall not be liable to supply such item at the stated price. Prices are
subject to change without prior notice. All wines are quoted per 75cl
bottle (unless otherwise stated).
Orders :
Corporate Wine UK reserves the right to refuse an order and also reserve
the right to immediately suspend the fulfillment of an order if the customer
is in breach of any of these terms and conditions.
Due to high demand around Christmas period, delivery may take longer than usual. Especially if you require gifts with your logo and or text, we strongly advice that you place your order with us no later than November 30th to ensure that your gifts get to you on time.
Order from outside the UK :
We can accept order from outside of the UK for delivery within UK , but are currently unable to deliver outside the UK.
Vintage :
Vintages indicate current stock, but will change as new supplies arrive.
Please inform us in advance if this is a problem.
Card Processing:
If you decide to pay using a credit or debit card your payment will
be processed by Corporate Wine UK Card Handling Services for a 2.5% fee
included in the cost of your order. The balance will be paid Corporate
Wine UK. The total amount payable will remain the same.
Payment :
Payment may be made in pound sterling by cheque, MasterCard, Visa,
Visa Delta or Maestro/Switch. Payment will be debited from your account
upon dispatch of your order. Completing the payment information and submitting
the order implies authority to debit the relevant card.
Delivery :
We will take all reasonable steps to ensure delivery is within 3-5 working days from the receipt of order. Deliveries will be made during
OFFICE HOURS ON WEEK-DAYS, unless a Saturday delivery is specifically
requested and the additional charge paid.
Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the buyer’s address, except
in the case of multiple addresses with prior written agreement with Corporate
Wine UK. The buyer shall make all arrangement necessary to take delivery
of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
The Goods shall be deemed delivered at the time the delivery is tendered.
Return of Goods :
Except for faulty Goods or incorrect fulfilled orders, Goods will not
be accepted for return prior agreement in writing. In such circumstances
goods must be returned carriage paid, and re-stocking charge equivalent
to 15% of the invoice value will be made.
Claims :
The buyer shall examine the Goods at the time of Delivery and shall
notify the Seller of any loss or damage to the Goods on any accompanying
document signed by the Buyer.
The Seller accepts no liability in transit for loss or damage.
The Seller accepts no responsibility for any defects or damage caused
to the Goods or the packaging of the Goods after Delivery.
Sale of Alcoholic beverages :
Under the Licensing Act, it is an offence for any person under the
age of 18 years to buy, or attempt to buy alcohol. We reserve the right
to refuse to supply any individual or company.
Artwork Requirements :
Your artwork should include everything that needs to be printed, e.g.
text and/or logo. Any additional alterations or typesetting will be charge
at cost.
Warning :
Some products may contain nuts or nut oil.
